  Coordinates and plans participation in AFSCME’s biannual convention.

  Manages the union’s election processes to ensure fair, transparent, and democratic outcomes.

  Supports members in times of need, celebrates milestones, and fosters a sense of solidarity and community.

• Government Affairs (Occupational Chairs)
  Advocates for legislation and policy that protects and strengthens the rights of state employees and their professions.

• Next Wave
  Empowers new and younger members to get involved, lead, and build the future of the union.

• Organizing
  Leads campaigns to grow the union, build power in the workplace, and strengthen member participation.

• Professional Retention
  Identifies strategies to improve job satisfaction, reduce turnover, and support the long-term success of state professionals.
