Update #3: CCHCS Emergency RTO Town Hall

Tomorrow, July 1, 2026, CCHCS is expected to begin implementing its Return-to-Office (RTO) plan. Unfortunately, despite repeated requests by your Union, the Department has failed to provide critical information necessary for employees to understand how this implementation will affect them.

Our Union has requested information regarding impacted employees, workspace readiness, equipment, and other working conditions. To date, those requests remain largely unanswered. As a result, many members are being asked to report to work without the transparency and communication they deserve.

This lack of information is unacceptable.

Your Union remains committed to enforcing your rights under the Ralph C. Dills Act and holding the Department accountable for fulfilling its legal obligations to bargain in good faith over negotiable impacts and effects. We are actively evaluating all available options to protect our members and will continue to advocate aggressively on your behalf.

Because of these developments, we are calling an Emergency Town Hall to provide members with the most current information, discuss what we know, explain the actions the Union is taking, and answer your questions.

During the town hall, we will discuss:

  • What we know about the July 1 implementation.

  • What information the Department has failed to provide.

  • Your rights as an employee.

  • Our Union’s next steps to protect those rights.

  • Questions from members.

Now more than ever, it is important that we stand together. We encourage all impacted members to attend and stay informed as we continue fighting for transparency, accountability, and the fair treatment of all employees.

In Solidarity,
