🟢 AFSCME Local 2620: Capitol Testimony + Bargaining Kicks Off 🟢
Capitol Testimony: We Showed Up and Spoke Out
On April 24, 2025, our Southern Vice President Dr. Aaron Cannon represented Local 2620 at the Senate Budget and Fiscal Review Subcommittee No. 5 on Corrections. He sat on a panel with UAPD and SEIU healthcare workers, delivering a powerful message about:
Who we are as dedicated state healthcare professionals
The dangerous conditions we face in our workplaces
The harmful impact of contracting out
The value we bring to CDCR and CCHCS patients every day
