Reminder: Sign the Telework Petition
This is a reminder to sign the telework petition in support of fair workplace policies for California state workers.
AFSCME Local 2620 is supporting Assemblymember Alex Lee’s telework bill, AB 1729, and continuing to advocate for workplace policies that reflect the realities of our jobs, our families, and the services we provide every day. AB 1729, currently titled “State employment: telework programs,” gives us an important opportunity to push for fair and practical telework policies across state service.
Signing the petition is important because it shows that AFSCME Local 2620 members are united, engaged, and ready to speak up on this issue. Telework and fair workplace policies will also be among the many issues AFSCME Local 2620 will be raising during Lobby Days. The more members who sign, the stronger our voice will be when we bring these concerns directly to legislators.
