LET YOUR VOICES BE HEARD IN THE CAPITOL!
Join AFSCME Local 2620 members and leaders for three days in Sacrament. On day one you will learn about our local’s top issues as well as about the legislative process. Days two and three will be spent at the Capitol lobbying state legislators. There will be a legislative reception on Day 2 where we invite legislators to meet with you to learn about our issues and concerns. Participants will be placed in groups of 2 or 3 and are required to commit to attending all training and appointments. Travel and accommodation will be provided. Maximum: 50 attendees due to the high cost of union leave for all participants. First come first serve by occupational groups.
